The Grease Hero team was at the Hawaii Ocean Expo last weekend. It gave our team a chance to meet with people and talk about the benefits of the Grease Hero on our watershed and ultimately our ocean. It’s no secret that our oceans are facing a crisis—warming waters, plastic pollution, and oil pollution are creating lasting damage on marine biodiversity. The Hawaii Ocean Expo was able to bring together people and companies interested in protecting and preserving our waters.
We are working to build a community of awareness around FOG (fats, oils and grease) waste. Many people aren’t aware of the lasting damage FOG waste has on our environment and waterways.
